As a webmaster, what plugins do you have installed and do you find them useful? Are you planning to install anymore at this point in time? I have StopForumSpam installed as a plugin. It's a useful mod that prevents users from mass spamming your forum. Haven't got this modification? Watch this video that explains more. I would highly suggest installing it!

On Wordpress, Yoast SEO is the first plugin that I always install. I'm still actually trying to find a proper anti-spam plugin for Wordpress.

XenForo has "Stop Forum Spam" implemented natively, but it doesn't stop the occasional spammers from slipping through the net. There's a few alternative / additional options out there, but I chose to ban disposable or spam email hosts and require captcha on login in addition to registration. I haven't had any issues with spammers since (yet)..

Nerdface had 79 add-ons installed at last count in March 2019. I reckon it's probably increased since.. 😅 You could say I'm a bit of an addict.

79? Wow. I thought having around 13-14 plugins on my WordPress site was a lot. Your site loads up pretty quickly considering you have over 79 add-ons. I also require captcha for registration and login and it's the only way I'm successfully managed to stop spam registrations on my site really. Everything else seems to not work as effectively.

I took an updated count of 91 last week.. I'm very careful and particular about what I install though, which probably helps my site continue to run at the speed it does.

Unfortunately I've since had 2 spam accounts that have managed to register (despite blocking over 7,500 domains), but thankfully Stop Forum Spam flagged them for moderation before they could actually post. I'll be looking into other alternatives to try and stop them from registering in the first place if possible..

I checked your list of plugins and honestly I was expecting a lot of useless plugins but they actually all look good and useful for your forum. I avoid using Stop Forum Spam because I've noticed that some legit users have problems with them and sometimes they don't bother contacting us to try and resolve it so you end up losing a few.
